EIPIC-P
Early Intervention Programme for Infants and Children – P
EIPIC-P exists to give families referred for early intervention more options: instead of waiting for a place at a social-service-agency centre, your child attends an ECDA-appointed private centre, and a government subsidy partially defrays the monthly fee. Fees vary by operator, so ask each centre what you would actually pay.
The route in is the same as EIPIC: a paediatrician assesses your child as needing early-intervention support and the referral goes through SG Enable. Your child cannot be enrolled in another government-funded EI programme, or in a mainstream or SPED school, at the same time.
One thing to know right now: as of July 2026, SG Enable has paused new EIPIC-P referrals from 1 June 2026. Referrals are expected to resume in Q4 2026, for enrolment from January 2027. Children already enrolled continue as usual — and the standard EIPIC route stays open throughout.
