SPD

A note on the name, because it confuses people: SPD dropped its expansion “Society for the Physically Disabled” in July 2014, to reflect that it serves the wider disability community — not only physical disabilities. The legal entity is “SPD Ltd.” from 1 April 2026. Just call it SPD.

For families of young children, SPD runs EIPIC at two centres: SPD@Kembangan and SPD@Jurong West. The route in is the standard one, via paediatrician assessment and SG Enable.
