St. Andrew's Mission School (SAMS)

St. Andrew's Mission School

SAMS belongs to MOE’s newest SPED group: schools for autistic students with no intellectual disability, teaching the national curriculum with autism-trained support — the same group as the three Pathlight campuses and ACS (Academy). Its arrival matters because this group has historically been the hardest to get into.

The practical layer

  • Run by: St. Andrew’s Mission Hospital, MOE-funded — a national school.
  • Campus: interim site in Bukit Batok; the permanent campus opens in Clementi in 2031.
  • Admission: requires an ASD diagnosis; apply through MOE’s SPED application (up to 3 school choices).
  • Official site: sams.org.sg — check admissions windows there and on MOE’s admissions-timelines page.

The full landscape — all 26 SPED schools, grouped by who they serve — is in our SPED schools directory.
